The Research On The Tombs From The Six Dynasties To The Sui The Tang And The Five Dynasties In Fuzhou District

Tombs as the most common archaeological monuments, contain very rich relics.By researching the form of the tombs and funerary objects, we can understand the local social funeral customs and social conducts, and can also apply the results of researching to verifying the historical materials.Fuzhou has a long history, of which the period from Six dynasties to Sui Tang Five dynasties is an important stage of its development. This paper will take the excavated tomb materials of this period as the researching object, through systematic and detailed analysis, to summarizes the development track of the form of tombs and celadon in Fuzhou area during this period. And by comparing with the North of Fujian, Jiangxi and the mid-lower reaches area of Yangtze river on the form of tombs and funerary objects, to analyze the similarities and differences between Fuzhou and these areas, combining with the historical documents, to display the social life of Fuzhou during the period from the Six Dynasties to the Sui Tang Five Dynasties.
