This paper is a report of translation practice. The translation project is the Articles of “Xi’an Yicun CultureCommunication Company Limited”. Under the guidance of Newmark’s semantic translation and inter-linguistictranslation, the author resolves the difficulties in doing the translation by using the strategies of communicativetranslation and relevance translation. The translation report mainly includes seven parts, the first part isintroduction of this project, mainly introducing the background, goal and significance of the project. The secondpart is the task description, including the introduction of company, the summary of articles of association, theanalysis of the style and language. The third part is the preparation before translation and translation theory. Thefourth part is the translation process, mainly summarizing glossary formulation, the selection of translation toolsand the using of resources. The fifth part is to present the issues after the translation, mainly related to qualitycontrol. The sixth part is the case analysis, mainly describing the problems through examples, applied theory inthe course of translation. The seventh part is the summary and conclusion, including the problems, gains and myown thoughts in the process of translation.
