With the rapid development of China’s economy and the expansion ofChinese-speaking community, more and more foreigners devote themselves toChinese learning. Not only is the domestic market of Chinese teaching in Chinaflourishing, but the overseas market is also in the ascendant. Meanwhile, the numberof people who attend the Chinese classes in colleges and universities is increasingswiftly and what is more noteworthy is the fast rise of the population for those whoreceive one-to-one private lessons or individual coaching in the last couple of years. It’s the author’s honor to be a Chinese teacher in ChinaLink whose teaching mode ismainly one-to-one. The author discovered the uniqueness of one-to-one teaching. It’staken into consideration that quite a few of scholars spend a lot of time on the study ofChinese classroom teaching while the study of one-to-one Chinese teaching seems solimited, especially for overseas. Therefore, on the basis of summing up teachingexperience the author puts forward a referable one-to-one Chinese teaching mode byanalyzing a survey and collecting feedback from the students. This teaching mode ismainly targeted at Indonesian students but it’s believed that it can also provide certainreferences to students from other countries.
