Investigation And Research On Chinese Teaching Situation Of Bina Bangsa Trilingual International School In Malang Indonesia

Indonesian Chinese education has a long history and has undergone different situations in different periods.There were many Chinese schools in the country in the 1950s.By the mid-1950s,the government restricted the development of Chinese education.Until the mid-1990s,Indonesian Chinese education gradually recovered.So far,China's economic development has had a huge impact on Indonesia,and the government wants to have more economic cooperation with China.As for Chinese language education,the government has tried to set up a Chinese language course to give students the opportunity to learn Chinese.Even so,many Indonesian Chinese believe that Chinese class hours are still relatively small and cannot satisfy learners to improve their Chinese.Therefore,in 2004 they decided to establish a trilingual school which based on the Indonesian national education program,which also added Chinese and English courses.It is not easy for learners to master three languages.In the process of learning,the teaching methods used by teachers will affect students' ability to master Chinese.The author conducted an experiment at the Bina Bangsa Trilingual International School in Malang Indonesia based on the Chinese teaching situation of the school.Two different teaching methods were used to teach Chinese vocabularies and reading comprehension to the two classes.Through experiments,the author tried to find the best or more suitable teaching methods for the Chinese teaching situation and student situation in Bina Bangsa School.Finally,the author puts forward some suggestions for improvement in the problems of Chinese teachers.Chinese teaching,and Chinese textbooks.I hope that the Chinese teaching of Bina Bangsa School will gradually move towards a better future.
