Researh On The Translation Of International Tender Documents Based On The Perspective Of Interpretive Theory

International tender documents has played an increasingly important role ininternational exchange in the fields of economy, trade, technology and culture. Inorder to reach the goal of smooth communication, the preparation and translationof tender documents should be taken seriously. A small mistake in the tenderdocuments may cause catastrophic consequences. Therefore, translation of tenderdocuments, especially high-quality translation is desperately needed. However,Chinese and English tender documents have significant differences in languageand textual features, the translation is by no means easy.Under such circumstances, the thesis, on the basis of previous researches andin combination with the language features of international tender documents,attempts to analyze the applicability of the interpretive theory to the translation ofinternational tender documents with the method of integrating theory with practice.The study shows that the interpretive theory can be applied to the translation ofinternational tender documents both in theory and in practice. In this thesis, sixtranslation techniques have been analysed with the profound connotations of theinterpretive theory, which can be used better and effectively in translation ofinternational tender documents.
