This is a report on the translation of Circulation. The main content of the original isdivided into5parts:“introduction”,“initial evaluation and management”,“hospitalcare”,“coronary revascularization” and “hospital discharge and post-hospitaldischarge care”, which is about the diagnosis and treatment of patients with known orsuspected cardiovascular disease. From this article, people can get a clear perspectiveof the diagnosis and treatment of patients with known or suspected cardiovasculardisease, and people can get more knowledge of this kind of disease. The translationreport consists of six parts. The first part is the introduction to the translation project,including the project background, the significance and the brief content of thetranslation project. The second part is about the whole translation process, includingtranslation preparations, proof-reading and modification. The third part discusses thedifficulties and problems the translator met during the translation, which includes theproblems of long sentence translation and medical term translation. The fourth partintroduces the main theory used in this translation--Functional Equivalence Theory.And the translation should follow the translation standards of medical English. Thefifth part picks out some of the translation skills used in this project, and takes somecase analysis as examples. The sixth part summarizes the lessons and reflections fromthis translation project, as well as prospects for further improvements.
