In the era of digital media, based on intelligent mobile terminal,the method and idea of animation creation changes greatly and a largenumber of cartoon works emerge. There is no doubt that these works whichcan be adapt to watching demand and make spectators make good use offragmental time for entertainment are successful and show that futuredevelopment trend of animation design. This paper summarizes commonfeatures of animation works in new era of media: simple and beautiful,refining content and strong interaction through combining graduationdesign Ugly Eyes and referring to many relevant works. The creation ofUgly Eyes is developed according to higher and higher requirement ofcurrent people for artistic works. Based on it, this paper makes acomparative study for similarities and differences between traditionaland new forms of animation, discusses inner experience brought byanimation interaction which is realized by new electronic technology, andforecasts multi interaction methods realized in animation future. Theartistic works in new era should get rid of limits of single form andpassive implantation showed by old artistic works and make realcommunication between creator and spectators. This kind of communicationis not an abstract experience, but becomes a means of representationthrough adding electronic technology. This paper is aimed to realize newinteraction form of animation by combining new electronic technology, andexplore and realize a way of integrating animation with new interactionbetter and more naturally. Meanwhile, this paper tries to make acontribution for multi development theory research of animationinteraction in the era of digital media through creation, summary,research and discussion.
