Picture books is one of the most important pre-school children’s books. Picture books not only give children knowledge in various fields of social sciences, but also play a key role in children’s processes of building cognitive of the world. With the development of world interactive picture books with multimedia elements are gradually replacing the traditional picture books as a major children’s reading books. So how interactive picture books will affect children’s cognitive effects, is one of the important issues to be explored in the field of modern design.This paper starts with the interactive animation medium in interaction picture books. On the basis of summarizes the literature, the author using expert assessment to classified interactive animation to gain samples of different degree of influence on children’s attention. And using expert interviews and observation to understand the main features of preschool children which is the main object of the study. Using the image recognition of the cognitive memory test methods to do the cognitive memory test experiment for preschool children. Select the T-test method and chart analysis method to analysis the experimental results.The experimental that Children’s interaction picture books can not only attract children’s attention but also can affect the recognition memory effect for content of the picture books. And the results also verify the existing interactive picture book is batter at enhance children’s interest and promote children’s cognitive memory capacity in reading by comparing with ordinary picture books. The research show that the picture book will exert different influence on children’s cognitive memory effect when reading it along with the change of the attributive character of animated elements and their different ways of combination. This research can provide reference for the design and production of related children’s interaction picture books.
