Report On Interpreting Practice In Xingtai Machinery&Mill Roll Co.,Ltd

Master of Translation and Interpretation focuses on cultivating the high-level, applied professionals. Conference interpreting is an effective way to test students’ability of applying interpreting theories and skills, and to help them to experience actual interpreting. As China’s foreign trade developes rapidly, the international trade negotiation needs a large number of professional interpreters to provide services.This practice is to provide conference interpreting service mainly involving consecutive interpreting and sight interpreting for Xingtai Machinery&Mill Roll Company and Danieli India plant in a roll trade negotiation conference which covers metallurgical steel industry and the international trade practice. In this paper, preparation, interpreting process and after-interpreting affairs as well as analysis of typical problems in the process of interpreting are recorded in detail. Guided by the interpretive theory, it focuses on analyzing and thinking the problems appeared and strategies adopted. The target text are also optimized. Thus the author hopes to provide guidance for future work and study.
