The rejection sensitivity is a behavior of the individual anxiously expected of refused to others, and a tendency of susceptibility and overreaction to rejection, which consists of the degree of anxiety to rejection and the degree of expected acceptance. It is the key that the individual rejection sensitivity can be kept in a reasonable level to keep good interpersonal relationship. Many factors influence the individual rejection sensitivity, this paper try to select two common variables of parental rearing style and personality to discuss the relationship to rejection sensitivity. This study selected college students as the research object, by effective measuring tools, Exploring the relationship among the parenting style, personality and rejection sensitivity of college students directly.This study, stratified from five university which are key undergraduate course, general undergraduate, private school undergraduate and junior college in Chongqing city, and there are400persons are randomly selected who come from freshman to postgraduate. Using "Big Five Personality Questionnaire","parenting style questionnaire" and "students’ rejection sensitivity " rejection sensitivity questionnaire "As the test material,392questionnaires were recovered, the recovery rate was98%, including377valid questionnaires, effective rate was96%, SPSS20.0was used for data analysis, the main conclusions as following:The first, the characteristics of college students’ rejection sensitivity:the expected degree of acceptance is apparently higher than the anxious degree of rejection; it is not significant that genders’ anxiety and sensitivity of rejection, but the girls’ score is higher than boys’ on the acceptance of expected degree; rejection sensitivity score is progressive increase from freshman to senior, while postgraduate fell slightly; it is not significant in rural or city region; the degree of expected acceptance and the anxious rejection are not significant to the students of liberal art or science, but the liberal art student’ score is higher than the science students; the students who has the better self evaluation has the lower score on the degree of anxious rejection and rejection sensitivity, in a certain extent, the students who has the better self evaluation has the higher expected degree to be accepted, while the excessive better self evaluation, the expected degree would will decline slightly; college students’ self appearance evaluation, to some extent, the better of self appearance the lower of the rejection sensitivity, while the good will make it the rise slightly.The second, the characteristics of college students’ parenting styles:the rank of five dimensions:the emotional warmth type, trust encouragement type, autocratic type, neglected type, indulgent type; the emotional warmth type, ignored type and encourage trust type styles are not significant in gender, indulgent type and authoritarian parenting boys scored significantly higher than girls; in the region, the parenting style of encourage trust, emotional warmth and ignored had no significant difference, city score apparently higher than rural in the indulgent type and authoritarian parenting style; trust encouragement and neglect of parenting styles on whether belongs to the left-behind children has no significant difference, non left-behind children in emotional warmth and authoritarian, indulgent rearing score was significantly higher than that of Left-behind children.The third, the characteristics of college students’ personality:the rank of each dimension:altruism, moral sense, sociability, openness, adaptability; it is not significant in gender on the sociability, openness, altruistic and the moral sense, girls’ score is higher than boys’ on adaptability; the differences of grades are not obviously on sociability, adaptability and openness, the grade order of altruistic:freshman, postgraduate, senior, sophomore, junior, the rank of moral sense:senior, big, freshman, postgraduate, sophomore senior; the differences are not significant on sociability, adaptability and openness in area, on the altruism and moral sense, the rural’s score is higher than that of cities.The fourth, College students’ rejection sensitivity and parenting style, rejection sensitivity and personality, parenting style and personality have significant correlationThe fifth, Parental rearing patterns through the personality to influence the rejection sensitivity, personality plays a intermediary role between parenting style and rejection sensitivity.
