Throughanalyzing the use of Meng haoran poetry Allusions, his brilliant personality can beclassified into four categories: piety and fraternal duty、the friendship foremost、nobleand unsullied character、the Wei jin style. By combing the allusions, the contradictionsbetween officialdom and seclusion in Meng Haoran’s thought can be found. Soallusions became a powerful argument to prove his ideas.
