Study On The Confession Consciousness Of Chinese Novels In The New Century

The word "confession" originates from Buddhism, this means applying for ensure our tolerance to forgive. Relative to the Chinese traditional culture, western culture is known as the confessional traditions. Since the1980s, topic of confession has attracted widespread attention. In the90s, there are many Chinese contemporary novels facing the human nature. Until the21st century, because of the trend of the times, the topic of confession becomes the focus once again. Confession feelings are constantly emerging in many literary works. At the same time, there are many confession consciousness studies of single author or work.This paper is mainly divided into three levels to discuss the confession consciousness of Chinese novels since the new century.The first chapter mainly elaborates the confession consciousness of cultural context and literature resources in the new century. First of all, from the perspective of cultural studies, this paper analyzes the impact of western culture shock to Chinese traditional culture. And the paper introduces the rise of an opportunity of confession consciousness and the basic characteristics of confession consciousness of Chinese modern literature. Second, the chapter in detail elaborates the confession consciousness in the Chinese contemporary literature, especially the literature resources since1980s.From the perspective of religious doctrine, the second chapter mainly analyzes the confession consciousness of religious novels in the new century. BeiCun’s, Shi Wei’s and Zhao Defa’s works usually reflect mental problems of people in society. And they often get rid of spiritual dilemma in the form of religious belief. The existence of confession consciousness has opened up a divine salvation road for people. Therefore, the second chapter firstly analyzes the religious influence on the writer, as well as the religious content in the work of concrete performance; Secondly, through the way of close reading, this chapter tries to explore the concept of confession from the religious consciousness. Confessors in novels convert introspection reflection to moral goodness, such as the process of the practice process of confession consciousness.Analysis of the third chapter is confession consciousness from the perspective of human nature. First of all, the analysis of the confession consciousness of novels in new century divides into two aspects:One is to his indictment consciousness; the other is to point to their own, which is more possible to reach the soul and reflects people’s conscience. Second, due to the relation between the formation of the confession consciousness and the awakening of confessor’s conscience, from the perspective of psychoanalysis, this chapter elaborates the process which ego converts to superego. Finally, this paper discusses the existence of confession consciousness has produced sublimation and the value of the reconstruction.By means of text reading and cultural studies, this paper focuses on confession consciousness of Chinese novels since the new century. It shows both the basic situation of confession consciousness in literature research and the confession consciousness of Chinese modern and contemporary literature research. Respectively from the angle of religion and humanity, it integrates connotation of confession consciousness in Chinese contemporary novels. I have inherited research of predecessors and have my own understanding. I hope to enrich the connotation of confession consciousness to some extent and to fill the blank in the research of confession consciousness in Chinese literature in the new century.
