Chen Ying-zhen is a writer whose works is thought-provoking and of greatsignificance since the1950s in Taiwan. The paper focuses on the ideology reflected inChen Ying-zhen’s novel, the interpretation on the background of rich repentanceconsciousness, the manifestations and the fate of characters influenced by theideology. On the other hand, it the harm on politicalnature, alienation servant in consumerism and culture desert.The four chapter specifies the fate and development of character in ConfessionConsciousness.
