A Report On Interpreting At Dongying Sb Precision Machinery Ltd

As a student majoring in interpreting, the author has participated in several large-scale interpreting activities held by Shandong provincial government such as the1st Shandong-South Australia Cooperation and Development Forum, the Economic Cooperation Forum of Shandong and Marche,etc. All these activities help the author accumulate rich interpreting experience. The interpreting activity at Dongying SB Precision Machinery Ltd. is the very first time for the author to take all the responsibilities which gives her a great opportunity to learn and make progress in an all-round way.Dongying SB Precision Machinery Ltd.(SBPM) was established in August2012as a Sino-foreign joint venture between Dongying City Yonglijinggong Petroleum Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd and SB International, Inc. This company manufactures and sells high-quality equipments for petroleum and gas industry.This report is about the real interpreting experience of the author in the direction of petroleum and petrochemical engineering. The author discusses how to be professional in handling different difficulties during actual interpretation and she hopes these could be helpful for future interpreters.
