The Research On Cultural Productivity

This thesis uses theoretical research as method, Marxist political economy theory of productivity as direction, beginning fundamental and theoretical study of cultural productivity of cultural industry. Cultural productivity in the field of cultural industry, as a part of whole social productivity, studying cultural productivity based on productivity theory is actually study from universality to particularity.Rapidly developed cultural industry in China has already been one of the mainstays of national economy, and also pushed the research upsurge in academic field. However, the study of basic theory in the field of cultural industry still needs to be strengthened. This thesis chooses economic productivity of cultural industry as research subject, and then put forward theoretical research of cultural productivity.After reviewing domestic and overseas basic theories and research results, this thesis defines the concept of cultural productivity combined with reality of cultural industry. This thesis uses productivity theory in Capital, the representative book of Marxist political economy, as starting point, concretely analyzes the component parts, measurements, conformation and reproduction of cultural productivity. Cultural productivity is constituted of three factors including cultural labor, means of cultural labor and objects of cultural labor. Cultural productivity measured by commercial and valuable features of cultural products. Cultural productivity infiltrates in each link of capital circuit, and forms capital accumulation of cultural industry. Then, cultural productivity develops into the stage of reproduction.Based on summarizing the achievement of former researches, this thesis hopes that through studying basic theory of cultural productivity, developing the research field of fundamental theory, making efforts to academic field of cultural industry.
