With the deepening of the socialist modernization, social morality, especially the social morality of college students has aroused widespread concern in society. College students’social morality construction is an important part of college students’ moral quality education, even is the cornerstone of college students’moral quality, directly related to college students’ world outlook, the outlook on life, values and attitude to the life and society. At present, the mainstream of social morality of college students is good, they generally have a strong moral cognitive ability and practical ability. But we should also be acutely aware that many social morality problems still exist in the current college students, investigate its reason, besides the students themselves, as well as more complex family, school, and social factors. In addition, we should note that the lack of traditional culture education is also critical factors in the training process of college students.Although, begin from Liang debate on Confucian weighs personal moral ethics has never stopped, but after two thousand years of development, the Confucianism preserve many about the essence of morality accomplishment, which has important significance on college students’morality construction. Firstly, the "benevolence" thought will help students to construct harmonious interpersonal relationship; secondly, the concept of "justice" can contribute to shape college students collectivism; thirdly, Confucian self-cultivation methods of "self-examination" and "cautiousness" will contribute to improve their self-discipline consciousness; finally, the ultimate goal of social morality construction is to realize the unity, so, reference the Confucian thought of "conscience" and "rest assured" is a good choice. In this way, connecting traditional Confucian culture with contemporary college students’ morality construction may be can get unexpected effect.
