"Shui Jing Zhu", as one of the three famous bookswritten in Northern Wei Dynasty including "Temples and Monasteries inLuoyang","Family Instructions of Yan Clan Family Instructions","TheBook of Songs", whose literary value and contribution need not befurther explained. One of the prominent aspects is that Li dao-yuan inthe annotation process quotes many kinds of bibliographies from severalbooks including poetries, proses, fairy tales, inscriptions and so on.Poetry is one kind of typical literature.Poems in "Shui Jing Zhu" Cited by Mr Li includes such three partsas "the Book of Songs", poetries and songs and proverbs, wherein, ofwhich poems have many same records with "Mao Shi" and "Qin HanWei Jin Southern and Northern Dynasties poem", however, there aredifferences in the word.At the same time, while "the Book of Songs" is quoted, some of"Mao Zhuan","Shi Pu","the Unauthorized Biography of Han Poem" arealso cited, from which the characteristics of Mr Li’s poetry can be seen.Based on the full text search for more quoted poems in "Shui Jing Zhu",Mr Li’s quotation poetry characteristics are cognized by researching hisways of quotation poetry and differences, then we will have an easydiscussion with Mr Li’s quotation poetry’s effect on explaining "ShuiJing"(Book of Waterways) which affects his quotation.
