Aggression is a common phenomenon in many species. It is a kind of behavior intending to hurt or harm others (including individual and groups). Children’s aggressive behaviors not only impact their physical and mental health, personality development and academic progress, but also affect the normal implementation of teacher education and teaching work. Therefore, research on children’s aggressive behaviors has double value of both theory and practice. At present, the study of aggressive behaviors has come from the previous sociological perspective to the molecular level. DRD2gene is one of the candidate genes. In addition, correlation between aggressive behaviors and temperament has been confirmed, but this kind of research is more concerned about the activity of temperament, ignoring another important characteristic of temperament--emotion. In view of the insufficient of the previous researches, this research was carried out from the following aspects:The first thing was to construct the Children’s and Adolescents’Emotional Characteristics of Temperament Inventory. On the bases of Lu Jiamei’s "Emotional Characteristics of Temperament" theory, we formed the initial questionnaire be theoretical derivation, open questionnaire. And then analyzed the questionnaire with exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses. The next thing was to examine whether DRD2/A-241G moderates the relationship between the Emotional Characteristics of Temperament and aggressive behaviors in children. Childen’s aggressive behaviors and Emotional Characteristics of Temperament were evaluated by Buss-Perry questionnaires of Chinese version and the Emotional Characteristics of Temperament Inventory respectively. And data was analyzed by chi-square test, t test, stepwise regression, the hierarchical linear regression.Through the above research, this paper obtained the following conclusions:(1)The structure of the Children’s and Adolescents" Emotional Characteristics of Temperament involved six dimensions:intensity, speed, change speed, controllability, sensitivity and expressiveness of emotional excitability. The questionnaire showed good reliability and validity.(2)Compared with the low aggressive group, children in high aggressive group were more sensitive, stronger but less controlled in emotional excitability. In high aggressive group, girls were more sensitive than boys, but the speed of emotion generation of boys was slower than girls.(3)Children with the GG/GA genotype were stronger but less controlled in emotional excitability, and scored higher in aggression.(4)DRD2/A241-G gene polymorphism was significantly related to aggressive behavior. Children carrying the GG/GA genotype were more likely to exhibit high aggression, but this association appeared only in female children.(5)Compared to individuals who carrying the AA genotype, those who carried the GG/GA genotype showed more aggressive behaviors when they were less controlled in emotional excitability. The regulation effect did not exist in the low aggressive group.
