The Research On Folk Form Of Guangyun

Guangyun(广韵)is a middle ages book about Chinese phonetics. it includes a large number of Chinese characters and commonly used Chinese characters in the Han and Tang Dynasty as standard forms, at the same time, the corresponding archaic form、folk form and variant form are written on the back of standard forms, besides, it analyis the evolution of differentiation and consolidation of Chinese characters. Guangyun has an important role in Chinese philology, but there are a few of research papers about Guangyun’characters. This article is based on the research works achieved in the past, make some progress on the study of Guangyun’folk form more systematically and the system of the Chinese characters of Guangyun.The article includes five chapters.Chapter I is introduction and includes seven sections. section one describes the purpose and meaning of this article; section two introduces the origin、nature、style and function of Guangyun;section three to fIve respectively introduces the definition of folk form, the relationship between folk form and regular form、variant form; Section Ⅵ describes the domestic and international researches; section Ⅶ talks about material and research methods.Chapter Ⅱ-Chapter Ⅲ and Chapter Ⅳ are the main parts of this article.Section one of chapter Ⅱ is an overview of Guangyun’folk form; Section two analyzes the recording modes of Guangyun’folk form, which can be divided into nine subcategories of three categories; section Ⅲ is a summary of Chapter Ⅱ, it mainly focus on the features of the recording modes.Section one of Chapter Ⅲ is the opinions of the scholars about the types of folk form;section two analyzes the types of Guangyun’folk form, which can be divided into twenty-three subcategories of ten categories;section three is a summary of Chapter Ⅲ, it mainly focus on the types of Guangyun’folk form.Section one of chapter IV is the reasons for the selection of books to comparative analysis; section two to three mainly have a comparative analysis to folk form from the books of Guangyun, GuanluZishu(干禄字书)and DaGuangYihuiYupian(大广益会玉篇)．Section four is a summary of Chapter IV, it makes conclusions about the recording principles, inheritance and transformation and so on.Chapter V is conclusion. The conclusion mainly focus on the relevant characteristics of Guangyun’folk form, which is based on the front four chapters.This article has the following conclusions:the feature of the recording modes of Guangyun’folk form is "double flowers are colorful" and basically follows the principle of "the same style do not appear again; the general trend type of Guangyun’folk form is simplification, but complication is also a important types; Guangyun’folk form pays no special attention to the small differences in the form and has an inherited characteristic, it has an important evidence and complementary role in contemporary word books and provides some form paradigms and analysis modes for simplified characters.
