A Study On The Predicate-complement Stricter Of Qi Lu Deng

Predicate-complement plays a very important role in Chinese grammar, so it hasattracted the great attention of scholar. This thesis fucuses on the novels of Qi Lu Deng,conducts a comprehensive inspection. Comparing about it in three aspects: forms,semantics, pragmatics. On this basis, the thesis describes characteristic ofpredicate-complement structure. The whole paper divided into five parts:Part1: Introduction, this part illustrates its researching situation, language value,methods, scope, classifies the predicate-complement of Qi Lu Deng.Part2: Resultative Verb Compounds, this part describes and analyses it by forms,semantics, and pragmatics. The word “讫”is special among the same period of otherworks.Part3: Verb-tendency complement, this part describes and analyses it by forms,semantics, and pragmatics. The directional complements are plentiful, which contain“起去”that have already disappeared in modern Chinese.Part4: predicate-complement with“得”, it contains resultative complement,potential complement, degree complement. And then describes and analyses it by forms,semantics, and pragmatics. At the same time, the Henan dialect word“哩” is also applyto resultative complement and degree complement.Part5: Comparing and summary. By comparing, the paper attempts to summarizethe development feature of Predicate-complement.
