A Research Of Relative Predicate Complement Structure Based On The Possible Expression Of The Directional Complement

The directional verb is a kind of verb which has its own characteristics in modern Chinese.The most common usage is that it forms as "V +directional verb" of predicate complement structure after the verb.It is used frequently in modern Chinese,but also because of the polysemy of the directional complement.It is easy to cause confusion and error in the concrete use of the predicate complement structure.Based on the high complexity of the structure,the thesis selects three groups of directional verbs:"shang(?)/xia(?)","shang lai(??)/xia lai(??)","shang qu(??)/xia qu(??)",and investigates their semantic and syntactic features in the structure.In order to explain the predicate complement structure,the asymmetry of three groups of structures and its causes are further discussed.Last return to noumenon,and carry on a series of discussion to the two structures to deepen the comprehension of the predicate complement structure.The full text is divided into five chapters:The introduction part,through the corresponding question to point out the research object and the scope of the thesis,particular introduced other academics related findings and explains the problem of drafting solving,and the innovation of the thesis.Finally,the research method and the source of the corpus are explained.The second,third and fourth chapters are the main chapters of the thesis,classifying and describing the specific semantic features and syntactic features of the three groups of reverse directional verbs:"shang(?)/xia(?)","shang lai(??)/xia lai(??)","shang qu(??)/xia qu(??)".Using cognitive scene,mapping of the conceptual domain,displacement event concept related cognitive theory to analyze its semantic evolution.At the end of each chapter,the asymmetrical phenomenon in the use of the two-structure formula is statistically explained.It also explains the specific asymmetry by using the theories of structuralist linguistics and cognitive linguistics.Through the discussion and analysis of the possible expressions of three groups of corresponding directional complements potential form,The characteristics of predicate complement usage can also be clearly presented.From the corpus as the entry point,return to the structure itself.Through the statistical comparison of the data,it is found that the structural positive form and the negative form present an asymmetrical situation.In the use of the negative form,the absolute frequency is much higher than the positive one.As to the reason of this phenomenon,the thesis explains it from two aspects:the usage conditions and the diversity of semantic forms.On this basis,the existence of "de(?)/bu(?)" in the structure and the phenomenon of whether the corresponding complement structure is established or not are described,and the causes of the phenomenon are summarized and analyzed from four aspects.At last,the thesis explains the bias of the directional complement in the structure of predicate complements,and sums up the points by analyzing the common error-substitution errors and classifying them,it can provide convenience for learners to learn the predicate complement structure,and can effectively avoid the use of this kind of errorsBased on the detailed description and the application of relevant theories and methods,the full text explains the specific linguistic phenomena.Thus,on the basis of predecessors,it further enriches and deepens the understanding of the structure of Predicate complement.
