With the increasing popularity of Chinese, and the strengthen of soft power incultural field, more and more students come to study Chinese and study Chineseculture. In the favorable international environment, the development of teachingChinese as a foreign language in our country is faced with opportunities andchallenges, how to make students learn Chinese fastest and most effective andunderstand Chinese extensive and profound cultural and the Chinese way of thinkingis extremely urgent. The comprehensive course is the core of teaching Chinese as aforeign language and its characteristic is comprehensive, it includes the teaching oflanguage elements and the cultivation of language skills and communication skills.For comprehensive course teaching we should keep pace with the times, constantresearch and exploration, for some foreign advanced language teaching concept, weshould take the essence, discard the dregs and combine with the chinese fact. But inrecent years,5C standard has received the attention of many foreign languageteaching,it is the the main contents of Standards for Freign Language Learning in the21st century of the United States.It can provide some reference of teaching for thefurther development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in our country in someextent.This paper is mainly combined with the content of the5C standard and theenlightenment on comprehensive course teaching in our country, and bring it to ourdesign exploration of comprehensive course teaching.The first part is the introduction part, it explains the selected topic backgroundand significance, review of the literature, research methods and innovation.The second part is about the present situation of chinese comprehensive courseteaching,it has not only the achievement but also shortcomings,the paper analyzes andsummarizes from the teaching methods and teaching materials.The third part is the overview of the5C standard,it has five aspects,includescommunications, cultures, connections, comparisons and communities, and hascarried on the detailed explanation.The fourth part is the enlightenment of the5C standard for teaching comprehensive course in our country, I expound it from that we should pay moreattention to the importance of culture in language learning, set up in the classroomlanguage situation and develop the practical application of language ability.The fifth part is the comprehensive course teaching design based on5C standard.The paper has carried on the teaching design in detail, take the development ofChinese-I learn generous in China as an example.
