Language is a part of culture, and is also the carrier of culture. Cultures’ contents are variable andcomplicated, and are changing all the time, which brings difficulties to teach Chinese as a foreign languagefor cultural contents. Based on this, this paper has a review of previous research achievements of culturalfactors, discusses the importance of cultural factors in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and thenanalyzes the cultural factors about positioning problem in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Theauthor pointed out it as a language teaching, learning cultural factors is for better learning the language, inorder to achieve smooth cross-cultural communication.This paper combines with the author’s teaching experience, uses the previous research achievementsof the cultural introduction, and divides cultural factors into language structure level, semantic level andpragmatic level to further elaborate analysis. Based on the practice of teaching Chinese as a foreignlanguage and giving "Boya Chinese" as an example to probe into the cultural factors, this paper dividesthe cultural factors in the text into cultural words and cultural sentences, and lists them.The paper mainly includes the following content:1、The first chapter, introduction, mainly expounds the research achievements of cultural factors up tonow,and the research significance of cultural factors.2、The second chapter firstly analyzes the cultural factors about the positioning problem in teachingChinese as a foreign language, distinguishes the cultural factors in Chinese as a foreign language teachingand culture teaching,cultural factors teaching in the service of language teaching. Secondly, this paperexpounds the content of cultural factors, lists these three aspects respectively according to the languagestructure level, semantic level and pragmatic level. Finally, this chapter analyses the principle of culturalfactors introduction, divides it into phases, practicality, suitability and interesting.3、The third chapter analyzes the differences between Chinese and western culture from the mode ofthinking, methodology and world outlook, the values of these four aspects, and points out the meaning oflearn cultural factors for the cross-cultural communication, respectively, learning culture factors caneliminate the misunderstanding of different culture; Cultural factors in teaching is helpful to enhance theirability to cross-cultural communication。 4、The fourth chapter analyzes the cultural factors in boya Chinese senior fly Ⅱ. It explains in detailwith the cultural words and cultural sentences.Language and culture are inseparable. We have to learn cultural factors in order to further grasp ofChinese. Therefore, attaching importance to the cultural factors in the teaching Chinese as a foreignlanguage, and taking cultural factors introduction into the class reasonably will drive it towards a betterdirection.
