The relation between language and culture is very close. Since the huge difference between Chinese and western culture, there exists a unequal meaning phenomenon between Chinese and English language. Referring to language learning and teaching, it also has huge influence. In additional, cultural factor impacts behind this phenomenon. But currently, as one of the important factors, cultural factors are not valued very wellTherefore, studying the unequal meaning phenomenon, the cultural factors and the influence on Chinese learners are very important to analysis of the impact and function of Chinese teaching. There are five parts in this paper. Firstly, to introduce the study background, purpose meaning and method. Secondly, from the angle of unequal meaning phenomenon, it analyzes the meaning, origin, classification and specific forms. Thirdly, it talks about the specific forms of unequal meaning phenomenon, which are Chinese idiomatic expression, unequivalent word and unequal function word. Then, it comes to the current situation of cultural factors in the field of Chinese teaching,the influence on native speakers, the function in writing textbook and dictionary, vocabulary teaching and awareness of cross cultural communication. At last, it concludes the whole situation of the function of the cultural factors in the Chinese international education. It helps the teaching of unequal meaning phenomenon and contributes to the extent of the promotion of Chinese learning and teaching.
