| The academic circle is lack of deep study for describing personages’ art of Han Shu. There is a systematic study gap. So it’s very necessary to have a systematic study for the describing personages’ art of Han Shu. The aim of our study is to fill this systematic study gap.This paper is divided into seven chapters. Chapter1analyzed Ban Gu’s thought and the influence of describing personages’ art of Han Shu. Chapter2, chapter3, chapter4and chapter5mainly expounded the described personages’ art of Han Shu chose material, biographical structure, narrated history and language. Chapter6will analyze the described personages’ art comparison between Shi Ji and Han Shu. Chapter7focused on the influence described personages’ art of Han Shu for literature after ages. Through systematic study, this paper obtained the following conclusions:Firstly, the leading thought of describing personages of Han Shu chose material is respects Confucian classics, and Chenwei Theology has huge influence on chosen material. Moreover, detailed and comprehensive material and cited article in biography is the important characteristics. So Han Shu has more conscious of the history concept, more comprehensive of describing personages’ art.Secondly, the structure as a whole, the modularized biographical structure and the diverse biographical structure are the main futures of described personages’ art of Han Shu biographical structure. The described personages’ art of structure show a clear topic, uniform condition, and then show the orderly, rational features of Han Shu.Thirdly, the official and orthodox narrative perspective, the objective and precise style of narration and the multiple comparison of narrative technique are the described personages’ art of Han Shu narrated history. The described personages’ art of Han Shu narrated history more objective, personal feelings more esoteric, narrative details more accurately, the concept of time more conscious, the narrative plot more detailed, and the story is more complete.Fourthly, there are three futures for the described personages’language art, they are the elegant and popular, antithetic and discrete, concise and accurate language. The described personages’ language art of Han Shu show narrative more and more regular, clear, visualized, powerful and precise. The described personages’language art vivid and popular side often occurs in the minor.Notably, it is summarized the above characteristics not only brings advantages, but also brings disadvantages for the described personages’ art of Han Shu. The described personages’ art of Han Shu lack the folk sound and multiple changes in some extent, personality characteristics and vivid image. At the same time, Ban Gu’s thoughts are subjected to Confucian classics, so he is lack of strong spirit of doubt and independent thinking consciousness.The paper also found some similarities in the described personages’ art between Shi Ji and Han Shu as well as some differences.Shi Ji is the history expressed by literary fashion, Han Shu is a conscious history. Shi Ji has a romantic spirit, but Han Shu is full of realistic characteristics. At the same time, the described personages’ art of Han Shu has a deep influence on the later history of literature, poetry, prose, fiction and drama, and offer a lot of material and corpus for the later literary creation.These characteristics about the described personages’ art of Han Shu are derived from Ban Gu’s thought of Confucian classics and politics, history and literature. Specifically, Ban Gu’s thought for the described personages’ art of Han Shu had an impact can be seen in both subtle and striking ways. Under the influence of Ban Gu’s thought for describing personages’ art, Han Shu formed its own unique value and style. At the same time, Ban Gu’s thought is propitious to interpret and analyze the various phenomena in Han Shu. |
