Research On Marx’s Critique Theory Of Fetishism

Living dilemma of modern human beings is one of the most important contemporary philosophy research issues, and Marx’s critique of fetishism phenomenon in capitalist social is originated from his deep concern for human survival value. Now we are still in the development of "based on the dependence of the object" stage, the reification problems still constitutes the special living predicament of contemporary people, so for the study of the theory of Marx’s critique of fetishism has very important practical significance.In the perspective of Marx’s historical materialism, this paper firstly analyzed etymology of fetishism, and revealed the essence of fetishism in the sense of the political economics "ruled by the abstract individual". On that basis, by the text study of Marx’s "das capital", the article elaborated how Marx’s m critique of commodity fetishism, currency fetishism and capital fetishism revealed the relationships of people-to-people covered by the relationships of object-to-object. In order to sublate alienation and eliminate the phenomenon of fetishism, we must understand the root causes of this phenomenon. Therefore, this paper studied the relationship between the alienation labor and fetishism, and further pointed out the elimination of fetishism way that sublates private property positively. After that, this paper, analyzed the critique theories of fetishism after Marx’s (Lukas’critique of materialization theory, the critique of consumer society theories given priority to Baudrillard’s). In the end of this paper, it elaborated the great realistic significance of Marx’s critique of fetishism.
