A Study On The Verbs In Zhen Guan Politicians

In my paper, I selected the “Zhen guan politicians” which is written by XieBaocheng as the original text. By applying not only synchronic description and analysesbut also diachronic and comparative study as well methods to research the verbs in thisbook. I intend to study the verbs in the exhaustive method. I hope that I canpreliminarily understand the characteristic of the verbs. I expect that I can excavate itsresearch value and significance. I hope that this thesis could make some contributions tothe Tang Dynasty history and the construction of history of Chinese lexicon.This article is divided into the following sections. The first part: Introduction. Itintroduces the author of “Zhen guan politicians” and the versions of this book, thepresent situation of the research of the verbs, the way and importance.The second part:I introduce that how to decide the verb. I find the verbs in this book and describe theverbs in a static manner. According to this method, I know the number of the verbs, andthe numbers of the monosyllabic verbs and the polysyllable verbs. The third part: Ianalyses the monosyllabic verbs and the polysyllable verbs. The forth part: I analysesthat what composition does a verb in a sentence.The fifth part: the important sentenceswhich are constituted by the verbs. The next part: I analyses the Semantic Systems ofthe verbs. The last part: I select some disyllabic words to analysis.
