This is a report on the translation of Classroom Assessment which is the eleventhchapter of Teaching and Learning in the Language Classroom compiled by TriciaHedge. It is a comprehensive handbook including defining the roles of teachers andlearners, critical pedagogy, interactive learning, and using innovative teaching materials.The report consists of four chapters: Chapter one Introduction,which is the descriptionof translation project that includes the project background, objectives, significance andthe structure of the report. Chapter two is about the background information and theprocess of translation. Chapter three, a view of the translational unit on the difficultiesthat are encountered while translating are focused, including the brief introduction oftranslation theory, the specific steps for translation process, analysis of the difficulties—typical complicated clauses based on Classroom Assessment. Chapter four conclusion,which summarizes the experiences and lessons gained by the translator and theinsufficiencies that should be made up in the future.
