From the17th century, The development of Tibetan Buddhism wasduring a period of great prosperity in the Mongol area. Through the growthand inheritance of200years,Tibetan Buddhism has a great influence to thewhole Mongol’s culture and life style, especially the influence of the world’slanguage——"music." The variety of Chant Sutras music has a unique aspectin its style and form. In the progress of inheritance, it is not only maintain theessence of itself, but also put some traditional Mongol culture into its parts. Areligious temples-the Agui Temple in Chahar Right Back Banner of Ulanqabwhich with local characteristics, experience its build, prime, destroy andrebuild in this land, the writer using the ceremony of Agui Temple as theobservation view to access and carding. And also the writer try to demonstratecorrectly of what this temple’s truly status is; try to provide the real anddetailed information of the study in Chant Sutras music and its inheritance ofthe national culture. With the analysis of this particular region temple--"AguiTemple" to indicate that how the Mongol’s national culture exists, grows, andinheritance in a particular place and group. After the periodic research andstudy, analyzing the changing of cultural phenomena, and finding itsparticular function and value in the specific ceremony.This article using one year ceremony of Agui Temple as the researchobject, and also focusing on the Sacrificial ceremony of Aobao on lunar May15th. The writer based on the fieldwork research of the modern ceremony ofAgui Temple, letting the Sacrificial ceremony of Aobao as the basic studyobject and describe the overall process of the Sacrificial ceremony of Aobao.This article based on two ways, on-the-spot investigation method andliterature research, objectively and truly analyzed the current situation ofceremony of Agui Temple and Chant Sutras music. Using the "describe-explains" of the study object, from the music point of view, to dothe sufficient research of the music in the ceremony of Agui Temple. Thentalking about the problem of how progress and inheritance to the ceremonybe.There are the introduction, four chapters and conclusion of this article.The introduction mainly talking about the reason of why do the research andalso the demonstration of exist study information, study guide and the basicoutline of Agui Temple. The first chapter introduce the social culturebackground of Agui Temple. It includes the location’s general situation ingeography, information of other exit temples in this area and the history ofAgui Temple. The second chapter specifically describe the historical changesand the existing condition of Agui Temple, including Lama and ceremony andalso the music of the ceremony. In the third chapter, the author focusing onthe description of Chant Sutras music, including its history, existing conditionand the meaning of its function. The fourth chapter introduce the inheritanceand protection of Agui Temple’s ceremony and Chant Sutras music in thefuture. In conclusion, certainly the contribution of Agui Temple’s ceremonyand Chant Sutras music, and the other problem that need to deal with in thefuture study.
