In Korean, verb enjoy a higher proportion. As a transitive verb, Korean word was used frequently in our daily life. Due to the different language environments, semantic meaning and syntaxical features of the word vary. So we should not only master its semantic meaning but also master its pragmatic meaning. This is focuses on the systematic study on semanticmeaning, syntaxical features and Chinese correspondences of transitive verb This thesis dissertation consists of four parts.As a transitive verb, Korean word was used frequently in our daily life. Due to the different language environments, semantic meaning and syntaxical features of the word vary. So we should not only master its semantic meaning but also master its pragmatic meaning.This thesis focuses on the systematic study on semantic meaning, s yntaxical features and Chinese correspondences of transitive verbChapter one is the introduction, and in this chapter the author gives a brief introduction to the significance, objective, methodology, and academic research of the study at present stage.Chapter two concentrates on an overall description and deep-going analyses of different features of the Korean word’ when it is used as transitive verb, in transitive verb and adjective. And this part focuses on different features of the Korean word’ when it is used as transitive verb.Chapter three details the syntaxical features of transitive verb and its Chinese counterparts. This chapter makes a systematic exposition on the semantic meaning of customary usages and folk adages that relate to the Korean wordChapter four summarizes the main achievements of the study, and of lowed by a list of limitations of the thesis and some points for her research. The whole paper ends in sincere hope that more researchers and scholars would participate in and contribute their thoughts andcreativities to the studies; and our studies will hopefully provide m ore help for students of Korean and Korean teaching in the future.
