Non-Fiction Literature Under The Perspective Of Modern Literature

The term "nonfiction" first came into being when People’s Literature Magazine started acolumn under the same name in February,2012. Ever since then, the concept of nonfictionhas stirred once again a wide response and huge upsurge in the society. The essay first startswith the development of the term "nonfiction" in the western language cultural context andChinese modern history of literature, and then discusses the valid literature theoreticaldefination of nonfiction in perspectives of modern cultural criticism such as hermeneutics,that is, the differences between traditional nonfictional issues of history biography works andreportage. The essay then has a deep discussion about nonfiction being again a hot topic ofsocial aesthetic causes in the early20th century. Nonfiction doesn’t reveal just the demands ofliterature, but also to some extent the absence of "true culture" in the modern society.
