On Spatial Narrative In Chi Zijian’s Novels

Chi Zijian, an elf from northland,she has similar talent and sensibility as XiaoHong,but the maturity and modernity of writing is far more than Xiao Hong.This isone thing that is the spatial narrative in her novels. Now the spatial narrative in ChiZijian’s novels has less attention,but spatiality is an important properity.Based on themethod of text interpretation,this article uses basic theory of spatial narrative toexplain Chi Zijian’s novels. The basic purpose of the study is to explain theproduction and function of the spatial narrative in the novels,the same time,to analyzehow the space goes into the process of narration to break the monopoly of narrativetime,so that the narrative space is going to be the key to promote the novel narrativeprocess or express the theme.This article consists of introduction,text and epiloguethree parts. The introduction part first outlines the general research situation of ChiZijian’s novels, carding the spatial research status at home and abroad, then leads tothe emphasis of the research in this paper: the spatial narrative research of chi zijian’snovels. The research angle of spatial narrative is in favour of expanding the field ofvision of research, and riching interpretation of the meaning of the text.The first partof the text is to do a simple look back as rediscovering, from the initial shift torediscover a large space in the narrative to make a specific sort of spatial factors.Thesecond part analyzes the generation of the spatial narrative of Chi Zijian’s novel.Thesense of space generates from its attachment to home space and inheritance oftraditional literary narrative space.
