An Analysis Of Narrative Space In Documentary Creation

The presentation of the documentary is based on the life record of real people and real things as the creative material,an artistic expression form that objectively and truly shows the process of events and the nature of things.Its content expression is inseparable from the artistic structure of narrative content.As a form of narrative art,the construction of documentary content is also closely related to spatial narrative.The documentary should not only objectively reproduce the environment and events,but also have certain requirements for artistic expression while reflecting the realism of the spatial content of the work.Therefore,spatial narrative has become one of the important narrative techniques of documentary.The graduation work ’ Ningjin Acrobatics ’ is created with the idea of spatial narrative.It records the growth process of several acrobatic teenagers in Ningjin Acrobatics Art School,traces the inheritance process of acrobatic teenagers,discusses many problems encountered in the inheritance of acrobatic art in the current era,and reflects the bitterness and hard work of acrobatic teenagers in the process of acrobatic training.This paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter starts from space and narrative,starting from space narrative,and analyzes the space and narrative in documentary creation from the outside to the inside,and summarizes the corresponding relationship between space and narrative.The research content of the second chapter starts from the documentary works closely related to the theme of this article and my graduation design,and summarizes the three spatial narratives and corresponding functional roles in the documentary from a practical perspective,so as to provide a detailed and reliable practical demonstration for the spatial narrative theory analysis of documentary creation.The third chapter continues to start from practice,summarizes the scene narrative construction techniques of spatial narrative in documentary creation,extracts the spatial narrative strategies in documentary creation,and confirms the rationality and feasibility of its spatial narrative construction techniques from the actual design of audio-visual construction,hoping to provide some feasible reference for the spatial narrative research and creation of documentaries in the future.
