A song-and-dance duet popular in the Northeast of China combined by YangGe innortheast and Lianhualao in Hebei. It come from folk. Its performance style and content areclosed to the bottom of people in northern of China. Recently, more and more people like theart form. With economic development, the original stage performance has not been able tomeet the development of the art form. So television song-and-dance duet, the new broadcastmethod, appears for the changing, which is the key research target in this paper. New artperformance form has new narrative. The paper analysis the television song-and-danceduetnarrative, and recall some important theories of narrative television based on respectingthe original traditional art form. And analysis its characteristics and illustration from theperspective, the mode of text narrative and the tune narrative. The process from stage totelevision is still at the exploratory stage. There is no fixed criteria and standard. The authordivided the stage into three way: the external form of television, semi-television, andcompletely television form. Each type of them are subdivided into different types forillustrating and discussing. In the chapter of completely television form, the author analyzestelevision short film “looking for donkey” based on classic song-and-dance duet, whichauthor participate in script and shooting. The paper comparative analysis from shooting scene,actor choice and language style, and create a new specific production method, list the problemduring the working process and show us the precautions. The analysis of the short filmprovides a strong support for the discussion.
