The Research Of Guangxi Community Video From Anthropological Perspective

Community Video is called as Participatory Video. It is a video type that funds and equipment are provided by an organization, who giving the video camera to the community residents and let them to record their community. It is not only a mode of operation of community development, but also is an innovation of the documentary video.As an exotic video from abroad, the Community Video was first carried out in Yunnan Province of China in2000September. After more than ten years of development, China Community Video formed in some hot spots, such as Yunnan, Beijing and Shanghai. In recent years, Guangxi has begun large-scale Community Video creation, thus it has being practiced further in southwest minority region of China for nationalization.This paper takes Guangxi Community Video as the research object and teases out its development context. After summarizing, it contains a total of33Guangxi Community Video works, and divides Guangxi Community Video history into two stages, awareness building and rapid development. Through the33works on the theme and the theme of characterization, it can be sure that Guangxi Community Video contains a strong connotation of anthropology, its content and theme basically around the inheritance and protection of ethnic culture. From the perspective of anthropology, this paper continue to explore the relationship of Community Video and culture in the process of practice in minority areas, and to analyze the creation and propagation characteristics. The study found, whether the text video information construction, the organization mode, or broadcast mode for Guangxi Community Video, it is different with the traditional community video and the anthropology documentary film, with culture and propagation characteristics of unique. Guangxi Community Video provides a natural visual feast for our national culture, and strengthens the utility of community video in the public cultural service system, and further explored the method of inheritance and the dissemination of culture, provides reference for other areas of community video and the anthropology documentary film creation.
