Study On The Mass Culture Of Qitai

The mass culture is not only one kind of cultural phenomena but also an importantcomponent of Chinese characteristic culture construction. As cultural phenomenon, itis a vivid manifestation of the overall development face of a nation or region, and asan important part of cultural construction, it has a special value in the historicalperiod to achieve cultural development and prosperity in our country. This paper setsQitai as a sample, using the theory of ethnology, through field investigation andconsulting relevant literature, and it is aimed at interpreting the current situation andfunctions of Qitai mass culture.The thesis is divided into five parts:Part I: Introduction. The part mainly talks about reasons of the selected topic, theresearch significance, the research methods, and the related research summary.Part II: Development history and current situation of Qitai mass culture. This partmainly introduces the basic history development and basic current situation of Qitaimass culture, including mass culture facilities and mass cultural activities.Part III: Qitai mass culture functions interpretation. It interprets the socialfunctions of mass culture; that are entertainment and fitness function, publicity andeducation function, communication and unity function.Part IV: Qitai mass culture problems and suggestions. This part mainly notes Qitaimass culture development problems,namely, insufficient capital investment, masscultural space facilities lagging behind, mass cultural activities defects;On this basis,it provides some specific recommendations for Qitai mass cultural development inthe new situation.Last part: Conclusion. This paper mainly describes three main points: first, as amulti-ethnic region, Qitai mass culture regionalism is associated with its ethnicdiversity, and it is fusion of Central Plains traditional culture and Qitai regional culture, an integrated distinctive regional characteristic culture. Second, the contentof Qitai mass culture is built on the basis of entertainment and fitness, with a strongpublicity education in entertainment ways, lying controlling the members amonggroups, not only making groups into harmony but also making people with astronger sense of identity and great cohesion, so as to achieve the effects of solidarity.Third, in the construction of socialist spiritual civilization, having the "GreatCulture" background in mind and starting with "Little Culture" construction, havingmasses as the main part and adhering to "Three Adjoins" principle, coming frompractice and entering into practice, positively playing the enthusiasm and creativityof all ethnic groups, correctly treating national folk culture and promoting nationalculture integration, finally we will form the situation of multi-ethnic mass culturalinteraction with regional characteristic.
