Translation Report Of Chapter Four And Chapter Nine Of Social Stratification In Contemporary China: Measurement And Analysis

China in implementing the strategy of "goingout" attaches great importance to the popularization of its culture with a view toenabling China better known to the world and enhancing mutual understanding.China’s social stratification is a part of the sociology research within the domain ofthe world. Under the guidance of the concept of cultural translation, this translationreport discusses the effectiveness of cultural function equivalence as the translationprinciple. Cases are studied to show linguistic differences between English andChinese, and causes of cultural factors and differences in thinking pattern arediscussed.
