Emotional labor reffers to the effort individuals paid to adjust their emotional expressions to meet the requirements or target of their organization at work.Since the first study and definition of Hochschild in1983, the researchers have made a great amount of research achievements.The concept, structure and the method of measurement of emotional labor have made a certain progress. In the related empirical studies,studies found that emotional labor influence employees’well-being, job burnout, life and job satisfaction, physical and psychological health, job performance and turnover. Researchs also suggest that the individual’s personality and the organizational culture factors also can affect the individual’s emotional labo.As reading the literature,we found that the research of emotional labor at work become more systematic and perfect, but there’s little research to study the emotional labor at home; Furthermore, there’s also little research to study the influence of emotional labor at home.As the progress of study, researchers have thought the emotional labor as a kind of streesors (Montgomery, Panagopolou),and these stressors will influence the relationship of wok and family.In previous studies, Teachers as a highly emotional labor load group have been widely studied. Based on the existing research, we using the literature and questionnaire method to study the how the emotional labor at work and home to influence the relationship of work and family.And we also study the influence of emotional labor to the life and work satisfaction, emotional exhaustion and depression. We selected the310primary and secondary school teachers in Zhejiang and Anhui province, use the variance, correlation and regression analysis and get the following results:There’s also emotional labor at home. The surface acting at work was positively correlated with work-family conflict, negatively correlated with work family enrichment. The deep acting at work were negatively correlated with work family conflict, positively correlated with work-family enrichment. The surface acting at home were positively correlated with family-work conflict, negatively correlated with family-work enrichment. The deep acting at home were negatively correlated with family-work conflict, positively correlated with family-work enrichment.Family-work conflict was negatively correlated with job satisfaction, and positively correlated with emotional exhaustion. Family-work enrichment was positively correlated with job satisfaction, and was negatively correlated with emotional exhaustion. Work-family conflict was negatively correlated with life satisfaction, and was positively correlated with depression. Work-family enrichment was positively correlated with life satisfaction, and was negatively correlated with depression.
