A Study Of Speech Sounds Of Hukou Wushan Dialect

Hukou is located in north of Jiangxi province,there is a lake between hukou andjiujiang that is jianghuai mandarin area, But Hukou belongs to Chang Jing Gan dialectarea, With the unique characteristics of speech around Poyang Lake area. It isdifferences between Hukou dialect in the north and the south distribution. Located inthe south of the Wushan town is the representative point south of Hukou. TakingWushan town as the investigation spots, This article mainly research the voice systemand development trend of Wushan.Wushan town has24initials,47finals,6tones.In this paper, linguistic theory asthe guidance, comparing the Wushan speech and adjacent Duchang speech, in order toclarify the influence of the Wushan speech in dialect contact.The old-fashioned wushan speech is affected by duchang dialect,it is significantlydifferent from Chengguan dialect, and the new-fashioned wushan speech is relativelyclose to Chengguan dialect. At the same time, comparing wushan speech and ancientChinese "Guangyun" diachrony, exploring its evolution and development trend. In aword, the initials, Wushan speech is conformity and simplification, and close toMandarin gradually. Rhymes, Wushan speech has a tendency to towards mandarin,but this change is not abrupt, but the gradient.in tone,Chinese ancient dullresonance[13] and mandarin falling tone is corresponding.The difference in wushan speech is gradually formed in the diachronic changesand in contact with the surrounding dialects. the differences between the Old dialectand chengguan dialect is mainly formed in the relationship with adjacent duchangcounty frequently. With the development of economy, traffic convenience,communication between Wushan town and Chengguan District is becoming more andmore frequent, this makes the Wushan speech closer to the Chengguan District,new-fashioned Wushan dialect and chengguan dialect is also more closely.
