Interpretation has become the bridge of international communication. Interpretation covers different fields. With the increasing of foreign case which happened in our country, court interpreting has entered a new developing era. Court interpreting is in its initial stage in china and immature in many aspects. The court has no rules while choosing court interpreter which will cause lots of problems.Firstly, the author gives a brief introduction about the course and the character of the task. This interpretation task is about a contract-dispute case. The content of the interpretation is the sentence part of the trial. After getting the information of the specific content, the author introduces the interpreting preparation. The author adopts consecutive interpretation in this task. Besides, learning the relative material and characters about legal English is of great importance. The most significant part of this report is the problem-solved part. The author comes up with three main problems which encountered in this interpreting practice. First one is the figure interpretation in the practice. There is loads of information which lack of logic in figure interpretation. The author gives solutions in solving this problem. Second one is the long sentence interpretation. The main solution is reorganization which is guide by the theory of sense. Lastly, legal terms are unfamiliar to most interpreters. The author suggests that using the synonyms to replace and interpreting the term which having problems in find the corresponding terms. Furthermore, the author makes a conclusion on this court interpretation. Meanwhile, the author points some deficiencies in the current court interpretation in china and comes up with several suggestions.This report is based on the moot court interpretation to solve some practical problems. The specific solutions listed in the report will have positive influence on the interpretation in the future.
