Research On Animal Allegory Idiom And Teaching Chinese As A Second Language

Animal allegory idiom is a conciseness of the allegory story. It appears in the form of four words ormore than four words. The story is vivid and funny. Its innuendo meaning is very profound. Chineseallegory idiom is containing the profound cultural deposits, especially the animal allegory idiom. Eachanimal represents a kind of image. It is active in the allegory story. After the precipitation of history, itsummarized to be the idiom. Animal allegory idiom comes into being today.Taking some typical animal allegory idioms as examples, this paper briefly elaborates the definition ofanimal allegory idiom and its background, significance, characteristics, culture, development and changes.Due to the limited resources, this paper focuses on the analyzing and explaining on the animal allegoryidiom resisting in the Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. This will enable the students to understandthe profound meaning of animal allegory idiom accurately in the process of learning Chinese. Meanwhile,it can help students lay a solid foundation in future. Next is the author’s questionnaire and the error analysisabout students’ acquisition in the second language learning. At last, the appendix part of the article attachesthe list of the content of questionnaire and the animal allegory idiom.
