An Analysis On The Book Of Written By The Nguyen Dynasty Of Vietnam About Da Nan Guo Jiang Jie Hui Bia

Da Nan Guo Jiang Jie Hui Bian (i Nam Qu c C ng Qi i V ngBiên) is a official book of the Nguyen dynasty of Vietnam borders,whichwas written in the Tong Qing(同庆) Period(1886~1888).This bookresearches about the Vietnam provinces’ Toponymy、Evolution、Area、Border, even its some particular issues.At present, there is no scholar has yet to study this book particularly,so this paper takes Da Nan Guo Jiang Jie Hui Bian as research subject,tries to interpret historical material information, and elucidates itshistorical material value.This paper is divided into two parts: the first part,according to the author,medition circulation,historical source,compilationfeatures and other aspects of interpretation, analyze the compiling featureof the book, and compare with other Vietnamese topography, so we canhighlight its writing characteristics. The second part, it contains threerespects: the first one is to trace administrative region evolution ofancient Vietnam and the setting of administrative units, to preciselydiscuss the formation of the Vietnamese territory、the Nguyen dynastyprovincial prefectures setting,Summarize the administrative region duringthe Nguyen Tong Qing Period. The second one is to analysis boundary ofthe Nguyen, including the Sino-Vietnamese border, western border andcoastline. Through detailed comparison of the Sino-Vietnamese bordermaterial, in order to restore the objective historical boundary issues; Inexploring the western borde, we summarize the distribution of its borderethnic groups, and do further research of these nationalities. Through thediscussion of the Nguyen Haixun (海汛), we try to reveal the scope ofcoastline. The third one is to comment xiang county, Ma Yuan pillarsand other issues involved in Da Nan Guo Jiang Jie Hui Bian, explore the Siam、 Lan Xang、Khmer、Vientiane、 Champa、 Shui Zhen La(水真腊) and other national geographic location and some of the problemsexisting in the history. As a precious book of the boundaries of theNguyen dynasty, Da Nan Guo Jiang Jie Hui Bian plays an important rolein the respect of Vietnam Nguyen territory、 border、border ethnic andcoastline, so it has a very important historical value.
