With the rise of Zhang ling, Chen He, Li Yan, Sun Bo, Zeng Xiaowen, Yu Xi anda number of Chinese writers in Canada, the creation of New Immigrants Chineseliterature in Canada has reached a new level, and presented a splendid sight in termsof quality and quantity. These writers live in an equitable and inclusive socialenvironment, make great efforts to dialogue the culture between Chinese andCanadian, their multiple identity have made a fresh for the overseas Chinese literature.The image of “Mixed-blood” is common for the New Immigrants Chinese fictions inCanada, it highlights the new path to the construction of identity for overseas Chineseimmigrants who have immigrated to foreign countries in the new period.This paper base on the writing context of new immigrants Chinese fictions inCanada, with the comparative thinking and perspective, is conducted according to thetheories like Imagology, Narratology and “Identity”,“third space” in Postcolonialtheories from a perspective of “mixed-blood” which has not been valued by theacademic circle. The research will be discussed from three forwarding aspects:“Identity”,“Culture” and “Home”. To explore the image of “Mixed-blood” in newImmigrants Chinese fictions in Canada and the cultural implication behind it.Reflecting the transformation of cultural identity of these writers when they are livingin a cross-cultural context, and highlight the multiple temperament of the NewImmigrants Chinese literature in Canada, thereby expand the perspective and researchspace of overseas Chinese literature.
