The folks described the rockwork asμ just as sturdyas thereal mountainsμ. Yuliang Ge died in1830, close to the end of the Chinese feudalsociety. The Optium War burst out in1840, China became a semi-feudal society, theChinese people fell into endless abyss of suffering. From this point of view,the researching of Yuliang Ge is urgent.However, there are no books special to research Yuliang Ge and his great works. Butfor Fishing Master·s Garden and Yan Valley, there is very few ancient books forresearching, the later generations also rarely mentioned. Few people know its lateststatus. This paper is to research Yuliang Ge·s life and works. The author, on onehand,do the researching the by visiting authoritative scholar, reading documents tofind the clues, on the other hand,collecting related poetry and historical data toanalyzes, visiting the works of Yuliang Ge, visiting museums and other relevant tounderstand the works of Yuliang Ge. In this way can the author analyze the pilingskills and summarize piling style of his works.This article mainly introduces the history,latest condition of the works ofYuliang Ge. By visiting the works and find the valuable clues, the author summarizesthe style and skill of the piling of Yuliang Ge. In addition to the eight sites of tenwell-know works, the newly discovered works, Nanjing West Yuanmen Renqiu Li·sJiyuan, Nanjing Nanbuting Fu Gan·s Tong Yin Residence Garden Villas, NanjingYouth brook Zhang·s Park, Nanjing Shawan Lu·s Park, are studied further.
