A Comparative Study Of Pan Yuliang And Yu Hong's Female Works

Pan Yuliang is one of the first women in China to study art in Europe.She was born humble and has a long way to go,but she has the talent and hard work.She pursues the true meaning of art in her life.The style of painting is“Hezhongxi in Yiye",at that time.In the era when feudal thoughts were not completely relieved of women's oppression,Pan Yuliang appeared to be different and left his own name in the history of modern Chinese art.As a leading figure of contemporary female artists,Yu Hong was born in the art family and she successfully entered the Central Academy of Fine Arts under the influence of her mother.Although Yu Hong's study in Yangmei is based on realism painting,she does not simply transform the figurative objects into figurative images,but combines the features of image collage and pop art to commit to realism.In the era when women,s paintings are becoming more and more mature,compared with Pan Yuliang,the female consciousness in Yu Hong's works is more obvious,showing the trend of female consciousness awakening,but both of them share the female paintings.Born in the 1960s,Yu Hong was born in the turbulent period of China's politics,but Yu Hong's journey along the way is smooth,which is exactly the opposite of Pan Yuliang.The work is full of Yu Hong as a woman's unique atmosphere and charm,conveying a self-examination of women's social roles.This paper selects two different eras,Pan Yuliang and Yu Hong,but the works of the same subject of the same representative female painter are sorted and compared by the female subject matter and the female consciousness conveyed in the work.The background of creation,the style of creation,and the shaping of women's consciousness are analyzed and discussed in detail,in order to explore the commonality and development of women's consciousness from the perspective of the development of the times.This thesis is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction.The background,purpose and significance of the research are discussed in detail in the introduction.The second part compares the background and personal life background experienced by the two artists Pan Yuliang and Yu Hong.The third part is a comparison of the themes and forms of Pan Yuliang and Yu Hong's female themes.Through the study of the theme and form of the female-themed works of two female artists in different eras,revealing the relationship between the development of artistic ideas behind the works and the times,and excavating the artist's own aesthetic pursuit.The fourth part is a comparative study of the female consciousness of Pan Yuliang and Yu Hong in female subject painting,which mainly analyzes the source and characteristics of female consciousness in the works.The fifth part summarizes the following conclusions and viewpoints:the background of the times The changes in the social and cultural environment,the choice of the subject matter of painting by female artists,and the influence of painting techniques and even the same depth of thought expressed in paintings are enormous.Under the development of the times,the influence of progressive ideology and culture on people's subtle influences has formed different personality qualities and styles of painters of different eras.
