| This is a project report on translation of Bushehr. Bushehr is one of the series ofIranian national situation books which are translated into Chinese by the IranResearch Center of Yunnan University under the entrustment of the Iran Embassy inChina. This book gives a comprehensive introduction of Bushehr province of Iranfrom the perspective of tourism, including Bushehr’s geography, nature, social andcultural traditions, customs, religion, economy, etc., and the translation work wascompleted together by me and another schoolmate. This translation report mainlyfocuses on the following aspects: The first part is the description of translation work,including the nature and content of the work. The second part records all thetranslation procedures, which consists of preparation before translation, translationprocess, after translation matters. The third part is the case analysis, problems intranslation, and solutions. Case analysis is used to explain how to choose differenttranslation strategies, namely, Domestication and Foreignization. The fourth part isthe conclusion, including translation experience and enlightenments for future studies. |
