Translation Practice Report-a Case Study On C-E Translation Of Honeyshare Web Copywriting

The advancement of science and technology has brought huge transformations topeople’s living and learning behaviors. Along with the development of Internettechnology and the popularization of intelligent phones, a new market of softwareapplications for smart phones is becoming increasingly prosperous, which gives birth to alarge number of companies focusing on the research and development of phone apps.Among these companies is Implication Info-Tech (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., developer ofHoneyshare, a note-taking application for smart phones. The writing of this report isbased on the translation practice of Honeyshare’s user’s guide, named Honeyshare WebCopywriting. It consists of four major parts, of which the first part is the generalinstruction of the project, including the introduction of Implication Info-Tech (Shanghai)Co. Ltd. and the instruction of the material to be translated; the second part is the mainbody of the whole translation report, including the preparation and text analysis,difficulties of the translation and solutions, proof reading and quality control of thetranslation; the third part includes the customer’s feedback and evaluations; the fourthpart, also the closing part, is the conclusion of the experiences and lessons that the writerhas learned from the translation practice as well as some deficiencies that still exist.
