In Kant’s opinion, categories have general objectivity and once our external experiences combine with categories, we can get objective and effective truth. According to perspectivism of Nietzsche, knowledge is interpretations we make after observing the world through perspectives. Nietzsche thinks our knowledge is not objective. On the objectivity of knowledge, Nietzsche adopts a standard of variety. The more interpretations we make through more perspectives, our knowledge is closer to objectivity. For Nietzsche, perspectives applied to morality represent existence conditions. Different grades of existence conditions match with different grades of types of morality. Morality is the world interpretations made by people. Different grades of morality mean that the degree of clarity of people’s world knowledge is different. Master morality stands for strong power, life instinct and impulsion. Slave morality stands for feebleness and degeneracy. The grade of master morality is higher than that of slave morality. In my opinion, perspectivism of Nietzsche is relativism, the perspective of perspectives is itself and “will to power”, perspectives are not commensurable. This essay includes five chapters. Chapter one is introduction. Chapter two is perspectivism on epistemology. Chapter three is moral perspectives of Nietzsche. In Chapter four, I have discussed the problems that linked with perspectivism of Nietzsche such as whether it is relativism, whether it is contradictory, what is the perspective of perspectives, whether perspectives are commensurable and so on. Chapter five is the assessment on perspectivism of Nietzsche.
