| This is a translation project on a report of Quality In Professional Translation Assessment and Improvement published by Jeremy Munday in the end of 2013. Jeremy Munday is a senior lecturer in Applied Translation Studies, University of Leeds, UK. He is an expert in the study of translation theory and he is prolific in translation theory books. The report can be divided into four parts: part one is the translation project description, including background, objective, significance and structure of this translation project; part two is the introduction of the original text such as the author, the main contents of the source text, and the linguistic features of the source text indicating that the language of the text is formal but vivid; part three focused on the difficulties in translation and the translation methods including split translation and combination translation, conversion, amplification and so on; part four concludes with the lessons and the problems to be solved. |
