The Research On The Ethnic Relationship In Henan District During Chin Dynasty

In A.D.1127,the new arisen regime---Chin dynasty which was founded by Jurchen people in Chinese Northeast destroyed Sung dynasty in central China.This lead it to govern Henan district,until Mongolian empire defeat it in A.D.1234. During the 100 more years,Henan was divided into 4 main region---Nanjing lu,Da Mingfu lu,He Beixi lu and He Dongnan lu,so that it can be governed effectively.Among these regions,Nanjing lu embraced the most of Henan district.There lived different kinds of ethnic group---Han people,Jurchen people,Khitan people,Xi people and so on.Because of the different way and ideas of life,there were diversified relations among these ethnic groups---which include Mongolia people,the later invaders. They not only had collision,but also had merge.The relation between Han people and Jurchen people was more interesting among all these people.When Chin was just beginning its rule in Henan district,Han people had repelled acutely,the political collision and cultural collision could be found everywhere,but when Chin and Southern Sung reach an agreement in A.D.1141,the collide relation on politic and culture was replaced by economical collision,which enclosed the farmland.At the same time,the fused phenomenon emerged---Han people gradually take part in Chin regime,the scholars of both two ethnic communicated friendly and the marriage between the Han and Jurchen became true. When Mongolian Empire invaded in the end of Chin dynasty,the ethnic relations in Henan district developed to the collision between Han-Jurchen people and Mongolia people.During the period of Chin dynasty,the most notable characteristic of the ethnic relationship in Henan is that Han people accepted Chin regime.The reason why it had happened on one hand is because of the reasonable policy Chin regime had adopt and the Chinese localization of Jurchen people,on the other hand it could be ascribed to Southern Sung regime,since they had give up the land on the north of the Huai River in the initial stage and prevented the Han people from north enter into their territory. Besides the most notable feature,there were also two another feature existing----one is that the farmland problem was the main course influenced the fused relation in calm period,and the another is that the governor of Chin regime didn’t absolutely believe in Han people.In order to discourse the ethnic relations in Henan district during Chin dynasty,this text plan to assign 4 chapter.The first chapter will narrative the process of Chin regime how to destroy Northern Sung and settle up in Henan district,at the same time,the administrative area of Henan and its population,ethnic group will also be written in this chapter.The second and the third chapter will respectively present the collision relationship and the fused relationship.The fourth chapter will analyze the reasons and the features of the diversified ethnic relationship in Henan district.
